Junior Academy Details

Progression from Recreation to Travel

Tier I: U6 Junior Academy = “Copa” Level

  1. $250 per year, or $150 per season
  2. Includes 1 Beach FC Junior Academy Training T-shirt
  3. Black and White Adidas Jerseys signify “Copa” U6 Level ($35 Uniform kit NOT included in cost)
  4. No tryouts – open registration for interested individuals (Limited spaces available – register early to ensure your place)
  5. 1 session per week in fall and spring with the professional coaching staff and Directors of Youth Development
  6. 1 academy-style play day per week in fall and spring (no teams assigned – random sorting of teams as players arrive)
  7. 1 season-ending festival in the fall and spring

Tier II: U7/U8 Junior Academy = “F50” Level

  1. $450 per year, or $250 per season
  2. Includes 1 Beach FC Junior Academy Training T-shirt
  3. Gray and White Adidas Jerseys signify “F50” U7/U8 level ($35 Uniform kit NOT included in cost)
  4. Tryouts and player invitations utilized to ensure appropriate high level of training and right fit for all players
  5. 2 sessions per week in the fall and spring with the professional coaching staff and Directors of Youth Development
  6. 1 academy-style play day per week in fall and spring (no teams assigned – random sorting of teams as players arrive)
  7. 1 season-ending festival in the fall and spring
  8. Tournaments and winter training will be available

Tier III: U9/U10 Junior Academy = “Predator” Level

  1. U9’s = $650 per year
  2. U10’s = $700 per year
  3. Includes 1 Beach FC Junior Academy Training T-shirt
  4. Yellow and White Adidas Jerseys signify “Predator” U9/U10 level (Uniform kit NOT included in cost)
  5. Tryouts and player invitations utilized to ensure appropriate high level of training and right fit for all players
  6. 3 sessions per week in the fall and spring with the professional coaching staff
  7. 1 game per week on assigned teams in the fall and spring (U9’s in advanced league TASL, U10’s in travel league VSLI)
  8. Tournaments and winter training will be available

U11 and up: Graduation from Junior Academy Level to full “Travel” level

  1. Prices vary by age group
  2. Red and white Adidas jerseys signify full “Travel” level with Beach FC
  3. Tryout evaluations and invitations to select the highest level players in the Club
  4. 3 sessions per week in the fall and spring, one week of Summer Camp
  5. 1 game per week on assigned teams in the fall and spring (Premier teams in VCCL, Club teams in VSLI)
  6. Tournaments available
